Apart from knitting I love reading and riding my bicycles. I love to eat and I like to cook, at least when I don't have to do it alone. I'm a bit of a Öko as the germans call it, as in evironmentalist. But that sounds way more serious than I am. I more of a I bring my own bag when I go shopping and I sort my garbage - person than a Greenpeace-activist. I just feel like there are a lot of things and places worth saving, before everything goes downhill. But thats just my personal opinion and apart from rantings about vicious car drivers you will probably not hear about it again.
I'm from Germanys capital city, Berlin where I want to live my whole life. Well, maybe.
As far as wool goes I love wool. I don't like synthetic fibers (except in rainjackets and in sockyarn) and I don't like the feeling and behaviour of some superwash merinos. Right now I'm kind of on a back to the roots trip to more natural feeling yarns. (I feel like wool should be allowed to be a bit scratchy and smelly.)
